Mountain biking is growing a lot for all groups of ages. It’s something that is a way for me to forget everything and get some adrenaline. Mountain bikers are genuinely such good people and because of that I have been able to make so many friends from mountain biking. I love riding a good set of jumps, but it’s a struggle in the Redlands as there is nothing actually good around. A set from Redland bay got destroyed and no replacement, and the mountain biking community wants some local jumps to ride that you don’t have to drive 30mins to get to. Thanks

Jordy supported: Redlands Council to build Dirt Jumps/skills parkAs a young boy who rides my mountain bike almost every day with my mates and my family, I enjoy riding my bike at the west end bike park but it always ends up getting ruined by the weather and other people. I have tried finding other places to build but the council would most likely destroy them. Wangaratta is very crammed with houses and is also really flat terrain. I am trying to advance my skills but there isn’t a good amount of jumps to improve on, there is no diversity between the tracks we have either and getting into mountain bike riding as a new rider is really hard because there is a limited amount of jumps and tracks and most of them are too big aswell. This needs to happen and will help kids get out of the house.
