I am a retired competitive player formally known as EGP tyrant a huge Jax fan since UMK3. MK9 is truly a masterpiece in which you can come back and play on or offline and have an absolute blast, by yourself or with your friends. The essence of NRS is flawless in this game simply due to the Original cast and guest characters that set the tone for the rest of the franchise. Please combine old and new eras finally!!! LONG LIVE MK9

I had just gotten sober and clean and was like 19 20 and my mom went out and bought me a PS3 and MK9. She knew how much I loved MK and needed something to do to help occupy my new time sober. That was one of the greatest memories was her doing that for me and listening to me and caring. She passed a year and a half ago and I think about that night and how happy I was playing the New MK9. I find myself wishing I could play it again on PS5 for nostalgic reasons and to have a little remembrance to that show of love my mom did for me. Sorry a long story but it truly holds a place in my heart.

There just hasn’t been an MK game to kapture both the essence of the original series entries and next generation enhancements. I even recently purchased a PS3 again, simply so I could play MK9! Remastered PS2/PS3 era games are making a definitely making a comeback and I would much rather pay $60 for a remaster where the money can go directly to the studios rather than Disc Replay and eBay. Netherrealm Studios nor Warner Bros. received a dime of that money!
Clearly, whether a ton of people sign this particular petition or not, this is something Mortal Kombat fans have been begging to “GET OVER HERE” for many years.
TELL THE ELDER GODS TO REVIVE THIS RELIC FROM THE KRYPT! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it… RESELL IT! MK fans will be thrilled to throw their money at this! And I’m just throwin’ this “blade spark” out there… The new Mortal Kombat movie is set to come out in October of this year, so what better time to release a remaster of MK9 in konjunction with this highly anticipated film?

I still has the 360 version but mk9 on my xbox series x would be peak just playing online and with my friends (and maybe my mom again?)

Me and many others would like to see this game brought to modern Consoles with updated graphics and online compatibility. The dlc was fun and I know it's hard for license reasons to bring Freddy back but to me I just want the game back as it to me was the most colorful and action packed Mortal Kombat. That's why I care.

Years later I found his copy of MK9 and I started to learn the game, then I fell in love with it all over again. I wish I got to experience what online was like back then and when MK9 was in its prime. I hope someday newer mk fans will one day be able to experience this fantastic game with a remaster.
