OH, SO WE’RE JUST GOING TO PRETEND like the McDonald’s Cinnamelts never existed? Like that sweet, gooey, heart-stopping swirl of molten cinnamon lava didn’t once GRACE OUR UNWORTHY PALATES with its sugar-soaked glory?! I’ve been waking up in cold sweats for years, haunted by the ghost of that sticky, melty, beautiful disaster of a breakfast item. YOU CAN’T JUST REMOVE CULINARY PERFECTION AND EXPECT US TO MOVE ON.
Every time I drive past a McDonald’s, I hear them whispering from the shadows of the past, “remember us… the warmth… the drizzle… the forbidden pleasure…” I would gladly sell my last shred of sanity, trade in my soul AND a functioning air fryer just for one more bite of that heavenly sin.
Bring them back? No. UNLEASH THEM. Tear the corporate chains off the ovens and RELEASE THE CINNAMELTS TO THE STREETS. I want cinnamon sugar in my bloodstream, I want the icing to melt the last thread of my mental stability, I want to cry in the drive-thru knowing that everything is finally okay again.
BRING BACK CINNAMELTS OR WE DESCEND INTO SWEET, STICKY MADNESS. You’ve been warned.

This proposed McDonalds would increase the traffic that is already a problem on our street. We are constantly having to pick up trash already that people drop in our yards- this will just add to it. Would love a better option for this former Walgreens property (which used to have a church on the site that was torn down for the now-empty Walgreens).

I fear this McDonald’s will increase the already unacceptable amount of refuse littering our street. There are no public receptacles, so we residents are responsible for cleaning up the waste of which others are unwilling to properly dispose. This is a beautiful, peaceful, family-oriented neighborhood. The addition of a fast food restaurant of any sort will only bring down our property values, increase the street congestion and corresponding noise, and further encourage the trash already making a mess of our sidewalks and lawns. There must be a better use of this space that’s more reflective and encompassing of the community, upholding our values and preserving the beauty of our neighborhood.
