This issue should be of extreme importance and concern for any parent with a child with disabilities. The state and services taking away a child from a parent is outrageous and unacceptable.

I've been documenting how Tennessee State Medicaid program and various other arms of government violate my rights. The discrimination, abuse, neglect, and exploitation of disabled adults by state agencies is sadly very real and widespread. I don't think it's going to stop until citizens get involved and invest in a world where disabled adults get to have human rights. We need attorneys. We need litigation. We need there to be accountability and consequences. It's a sad sorry state of affairs where in desperation people have to rely on a change.org page to try to get people to pitch in. What's required to enact real change requires a higher level of commitment and involvement. Your support is needed here and elsewhere.

We need a CLASS ACTION suit. Demand funding & attention to this expanding problem. Too many people have died & become disabled. It’s got to STOP!

For too long, patients suffering from chronic Lyme disease have experienced systemic inequities in access to care, insurance coverage and government programs. Many are misdiagnosed, denied appropriate treatment, or blocked from accessing disability benefits due to outdated policies, conflicts of interest and contested guidelines published by the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

In fact an independent internist actually told me as a patient I am ‘flagged’. Lyme patients are constantly ignored, gaslit, and not given the help they need and it HAS TO CHANGE!
