It is absolutely a breach of trust. Despite the racist atmosphere, the immigrants are doing their best to keep to the rules and regulations of the land. Our contributions to the economy can not be undermined. We are pleading to the government to reconsider their plan on this issue.

Traffic from Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs) is being redirected to surrounding main roads, causing increased congestion and pollution in these areas. Drivers are forced to take longer routes due to road closures, resulting in longer journey times, higher emissions, and even road rage. For families like mine, who regularly commute from Greenwich to Blackheath, a simple 10-minute journey has now turned into a 30-40 minute ordeal during rush hour. The failure to efficiently disperse traffic is glaringly obvious. It’s frustrating that decision-makers seem disconnected from the real-world consequences of their policies on daily traffic and commuting patterns.

As someone that has to take the disabled children to the hospital frequently! This is now adding to the commute. Yes, we have exemption but by pushing traffic further out to get to the exemption zone we’re sitting in heavy traffic causing my artistic children to become very distressed and upset.

I live outside London, but visit regularly and often visited Greenwich for shopping and lunch, I’ve stopped now because of these traffic measures as I can’t afford to risk a £60 fine.

1. The traffic blockage is now off the scale in Trafalgar Road. Yesterday morning while waiting at King William Lane for my 386 or 286 bus I had TWO 188 buses arrive tailing each other, followed by TWO 177 buses tailing eachother. These buses were obviously prevented from being spaced out on their journey and were being held up in the system. If the buses are being prevented from moving about freely how can this possibly be a workable, logical decision. 2. Last week I had to walk up Westcombe Hill from the bottom to get to my work place in Stratheden Road and in the 15 mins it took me to walk the entire hill, not ONE bus got through up Westcombe Hill. Proof again that the whole are is getting clogged and buses cannot move through. 3. One evening last week at 6.45 I tried to drive through to Asda and Ikea from my home in SE10 9PP and it took 10minutes to move one block! I aborted my journey and turn into Christchurch way and went home. Later on that evening the blockage was as bad and I could not get out to get to the shops! There were none of these problems before from Monday to Friday, only the weekends were extra busy due to the volume of people wanting to shop and also tourists/sightseers coming into Greenwich which is a popular UNESCO World Heritage site. This ridiculous LTN has go to be abandoned. This seems to have been thought up by people with no common sense or intelligence, and clearly people who do not actually LIVE in the area!

I never thought this would apply to me, however since the LTNs there's often a backlog of traffic down my road now, while it seens the wealthier roads are kept clear. Also I'm disabled and need taxis to get about, and during the restriction times it takes so much longer for a taxi to come abd they are a lot more expensive. Which restricts me. The pollution has increased, causes distress to drivers, and impacts disabled people. It was good to try it but it obviously doesn't work, so please stop it now.

The reason was to reduce traffic, noise and pollution.. you just added another 30 minutes onto our morning and evening journey each way, stuck in traffic and moved the problem down the main road instead! Making it even worse than it already is!

We previously had an LTN in the croombs hill area of Greenwich during the pandemic. It caused absolute chaos around Greenwich. I’ve been a Greenwich resident for nearly 15 years. I now live in Blackheath but travel daily to see my mother who has Alzheimer’s and lives in Greenwich. All the LTNs do is create quiet roads for the people who live in the nice posh streets of Greenwich. All that regular traffic has to go some where and generally it gets filtered to all the surrounding streets, so these people in surrounding areas now have suffering double the noise and air pollution because the successful LTN streets have won their case to have traffic banned where they live. You the council are now responsible for creating the suffering of air and traffic pollution to the surrounding street that don’t have LTNs. This is pure discrimination against those residents who don’t live on an LTN neighbourhood. This creation of LTNs is horrendous traffic everywhere and ultimately more pollution because everyone has no choice but to just sits in their cars in traffic jams which pumping pollution into the environment, It doesn’t reduce car journeys or force people to use public transportation. All it does it create extra fine revenue for the council. There is a cost of living crisis and the govt plus council are determined to squeeze ever penny out of the public. Since the 60s cars have give the citizens of the UK the freedom of mobility and the govt is hell bent on talking this freedoms from people by taxing them in every possible way. The countries economy relies on mobility. With out it we would have no growth in the economy. May people need their vehicle to earn a living and many people wouldnt have a life if they could t get about. You will never stops people using their cars, the govt need to find a solution that doesn’t produce the pollution, not prevent people from being mobile. The lack of mobility of the citizens of this country would send us into an economic recession. Wake up Greenwich council!!!

The LTN HAS REDUCED ACCESSIBILITY to my business for HALF OF THE WORKING DAY to HALF OF MY CUSTOMER BASE. Impossible to Cram. 10 hours of work into 5 hours of the LTNS not being operational. The traffic is horrendous and there is no future for my business working like this !

I live right in the middle of what I call ‘the exclusion zone’, both of my children’s schools are in the border or the other side of the boundary created by these restrictions to my home. My children are both disabled and sometimes require being driven to/from school and health appointments and these restrictions make life a nightmare!! I have taken to driving through them and appealing the notices. I guess I will end up at court with Greenwich eventually where I will be arguing these restriction are discriminatory
