I have had Long Covid for almost 3 yrs now and am tired of being ignored or just told well, there is nothing we can do for you. As a result of Long Covid I now have low blood sodium and am on total liquid restriction of 1.25 liters/day. I am now on my 4th PCP and they all seem to think that this is totally acceptable. My most recent PCP stated that he has lots of female patients with low blood sodium and some have gone as low as 116 and didn't die.
Vivian supported: Support the Long Covid SOS Bill of Rights!It's imperative the clinics remain open. All the knowledge that the doctors built up over the last 5 years will disappear. We need support, we need care and treatment that can only be given from these clinics. GPS are not familiar with the medications that are used effectively and are reluctant to prescribe. Long Covid is a physical and mental and debilitating chronic illness and needs to be recognised as such for the clinics to stay open.
I have needed Dr Shribman at my local clinic for support, guidance, prescribed medication, referrals to other NHS services that this illness has caused. My clinic are amazing and need yo be open for the good of the long covid local community. Please help and support.

Was this young lady lazy or was she completely incapable of exercise? She was completely incapable for physiological reasons NOT due to laziness/a lack of trying. The statement made is ignorant, inaccurate, and could lead to someone becoming further debilitated if they were to take his words as fact and attempt activities that the body is not able to perform or recover from.
