Heroes was the game that got me into pc gaming and it changed the way I interacted online positively, it was some of the most fun I've had with my friends and by myself. The characters and objectives between all the maps were so unique in there play style that was so different than the other mobas on the market that really made it stick out and gave it an edge over then. Please Heroes another chance, it truly was the best game.
My husband got me into gaming in 2021, Heroes of the Storm was one of the first games he showed me and I took an interest. I started playing it with him and his Discord friends and Heroes is still one of our top favorite games to play together! I love it just how it is and would love to see it preserved through the Steam platform.
As a dedicated player, I’ve always appreciated the ability to earn rewards through gameplay, and this change makes it feel less rewarding. The free chests added an element of excitement and motivation to play different champions, and taking them away feels like a step backward.
I hope you reconsider this decision and find ways to keep the game rewarding for loyal players.
I've only started playing last year purely to play with friends and have fun. But recently, I've been wanting to get more in-depth and improve playing for my own sake. Unfortunately, as I do, I see how the company has started to fall with their confusing decisions and greedy natures. Hextech chests have been in the game for so long and hasn't impacted anything on the sales side of things. If people want a specific skin, they would buy it. Hell, skins aren't even guaranteed from them! They didn't do anything to impact sales. The firing of hundreds of artists that affected skin quality has however. The gacha system they implemented as well does nothing but hurt the game overall. Stop this nonsense and remember why the game was created and upkept for so long: for the players.
