I'm cis, but I strongly believe no one should have to feel unsafe for their existence or for something that doesn't affect others. Most trans people aren't seeking to harm others, and any that do should not represent the community as a whole. Just let them be when they aren't hurting anyone. Truth is, trans people face more violence than they dish out

As a nonbinary person in my mid sixties, the current situation has put the Uk back to the same place it was before Stonewall…if we are stopped being valued and visible, we will once again will be the focus of derision and hate…more so now than ever…let’s be honest the recent judgement(politically influenced) was due to the UK government not having the backbone to take a stand and support us, after all there are more votes available from those that support separation that inclusion within our ‘society’ … our is is being used as a dog whistle to all those that are challenged by change ?

ALL members of society need accommodating and valuing. I understand the changing room etc issue. But it has left trans people feeling even more isolated and unwanted. This should never happen. The issue needs sorting. I despised the cheering and vitriol after the courts decision. Cheering because some members of society have been left in the lurch? This is a sensitive issue that requires addressing with sensitivity and compassion.
