NEWS UPDATE: The Lake County Community and Youth Orchestra (LCCYO) showcase concert scheduled for September 22nd has been officially canceled, according to the Soper Reese Theatre's website linked here:

This dramatic result was seen today after a short but focused activism campaign demonstrated the power of peaceful protesting, demonstrations, letter-writing, and petitioning. Our gratitude goes out to all of you who supported it in various ways, including by signing and sharing this petition. 

Now it's time to keep up the pressure on the LCCYO's parent organization the Lake County Symphony Association to get a new leader to replace disgraced LCCYO director Camm Linden, correct retaliatory actions, and apologize to the musicians she harassed, alienated and/or unfairly excluded from the orchestra so our community can start making beautiful music together again!
