Sindhi language is one of the richest languages containing more than 50 letters. Unfortunately, Sindhi is not receiving enough support from Pakistani government and is being discouraged in Pakistan. Sindhis need support of world communities to preserve and advance their language.

My daughter has been learning Latin for nearly 3 years, really enjoys it and was planning to study this for GCSE and potentially beyond. Please can the school look at further options to enable this subject to be continued at West Kirby, at least for those who are were planning to do it for GCSE in year 10 in 2025. There must be a way to make this happen!

It is a terrible loss to the whole educational community of the area. As far as I know, no school locally will now be teaching Latin. Many of your students still love this subject and to deprive them of this opportunity is unfair. Latin as a subject is of intrinsic value. An understanding of Latin underpins much of our world as our scientific terms all come from Latin. Please reconsider this decision. To lose Latin is to lose a valuable part of our education.
