In the auburn Georgia game I could see the ball cross the line for a touchdown halfway across the kitchen on a tiny screen but after 30 minutes of review the ref couldn’t see it right in front of him
Let the boys play football without having to work against the refs! The Auburn Georgia game was the worst officiated game I have quite literally ever seen. Here is why:
- touchdown call ruled a fumble
- listening to Kirby even though he clearly called a timeout and still no delay of game
- targeting call on #4, but not on the 2 Georgia players in the 2nd half
- all the calls made in the last 2 minutes of the 1st half
- Arnold’s first down in the 1st half that they reviewed and marked him short
- many missed holding calls that led to Georgia gaining yards
- not reviewing any controversial plays in Georgia
- Holding call on Auburn in the 2nd half when he brushed the Georgia guy
- roughing the passer call in the 2nd half on Auburn
- and so many more
All of these completely shifted the momentum of the game. Auburn couldn’t even play without a flag or a play under review.
Im a Bama fan this has been one of the worst officiating I have ever seen in my 7 years of watching college football. He shouldn’t just be him who should be investigated it should be Jason Autry and the others too.
I've been a huge UFC fan since about 2006. I watch every PPV and tend to travel to 1-2 live events a year. At one time, Jon Jones was my favorite fighter. Hell, I had his shoes, even!
This whole debacle is a stain to the sport. If Jon won't fight Tom he needs to be stripped. Dana cannot keep playing favorites like this. It's asinine. It's wasting Toms prime, it's unfair to other fighters, and quite frankly it's ruining the sport.
Love the UFC, but this is an issue and perhaps we all need to boycott it they won't do something about it
I have been a hardcore fan of the sport for 20 years since the TUF boom in 2005, and had watched on and off since 2003. This is not boxing, where undisputed champions and interim champions will go their entire careers without facing each other and unifying the titles - For the integrity of the sport, Jon Jones needs to be stripped of the title as soon as possible. He is purposely holding up a division, because he wants to be the longest reigning heavyweight champion by taking the easiest road and simply waiting it out...
The egotistical and disrespectful nature in which he conducts himself is almost hysterical in nature, not a befitting a real champion in the slightest. GSP had his title stripped from him the night he said he was going to walk away from the sport. Jones has said that several times, even before the Stipe fight, he was talking about retirement. So why is he not treated in the same manner, strip him and bring respect back to the sport. He's not the Superstar he used to be, he's made sure of that. I can only hope that the UFC chooses to make the right decision.
