Please don’t replace them. We need their voice actors. Hu Tao and Keqing are some of the most popular and well-known characters in Genshin Impact. They’ve been in the game for a long time longer than many newer characters. Their voices are a big part of who they are. Changing them would make the characters feel different, and for many fans, Genshin wouldn’t feel the same without them. They’ve been part of Liyue since the beginning, one of the first regions in the game, and are loved by both old and new players. These voice actors have worked hard for years and deserve to keep their roles.

As I've stated on another petition just for the Paimon VA, I've been a victim of bullying and had to watch my brothers be bullied in school as well. I have no tolerance for bullies, and even less tolerance for those who try to shield themselves from consequence with their disabilities and/or affiliations with organizations that claim to have good intentions. Nothing diminishes that org's work to nothing faster than those who are mouth pieces, representatives, or members for that org acting in socially unacceptable ways. Especially when those actions are directed towards another person trying to find work in a crumbling economy. Absolutely shameful and disgusting behaviour should not be continued to be ignored as it has been in the recent past. Fire these utter embarrassments of VA's and replace them with people who desperately could use the funding and such a large title behind them to boost their careers. There are many many people out there who would give anything to voice for such a successful company like miHoYo.

As someone who's been a target of harassment & bullying throughout my life, I have no tolerance whatsoever for people who seem to take pleasure in doing such things. Deciding to refuse working & being replaced is no one's fault but your own. Lashing out & attacking those for taking on the job you refused to do for MONTHS is both unprofessional & extremely childish, ESPECIALLY considering that what they're doing isn't even an official SAG strike! The level of entitlement & superiority these people blatantly display against their own fans & coworkers is something that should never be tolerated within the industry. Attempting to weaponize their own fans against others for the sole purpose of getting a FOREIGN game publisher to sign an AMERICAN-EXCLUSIVE contract is both illogical and greedy. If this were literally any other industry, they would've been fired within the week.

Honestly, the situation with SAG-AFTRA and Genshin Impact frustrates me. They claim to fight for fair treatment, wages, and protection—but only for their members. Non-union voice actors, many of whom helped build these characters from the start, get pushed aside just because they're not part of the system. That’s not fair or inclusive. What's worse is that this pressure to force union-only contracts is happening only in the U.S. In other countries, unions actually try to protect all workers, not just the ones paying dues. SAG-AFTRA demanding exclusivity from HoYoverse feels more like a power move than a push for fairness. And fans are the ones left dealing with voice changes, inconsistency, and a drop in quality. Unions shouldn’t gatekeep opportunities. They should uplift everyone in the industry—not just those who sign their contracts.
