My home, South Africa faces these violent crimes against women. This world faces these crimes. It’s up to us to stand up for change. This family doesn’t deserve to see the killer walk free
Ending gender-based violence (GBV) in South Africa is crucial to protecting human rights, ensuring safety, and promoting gender equality. GBV undermines social and economic progress, harms victims’ physical and mental well-being, and perpetuates cycles of poverty and trauma. Addressing GBV fosters a safer, more just society for all.
I’m a nineteen year old Swazi, living in India. I was raped by my sister ( mom’s sisters child) from ages 5 to 12. I told my grandmother and she did nothing but punish me and make me sleep outside instead. From then onwards I was despised. It hurts to see that women everyday are suffering in Silence. Justice for all victims and let’s stop GBV!!!!!
