Farmworkers

Farmworkers play a vital role in our food system, yet they often face challenging working conditions and lack essential rights and protections. Petitions under the farmworkers topic highlight issues such as fair wages, safe working conditions, and access to healthcare. Recently, a petition advocating for hazard pay for farmworkers during the COVID-19 pandemic gained significant traction, emphasizing the essential nature of their work. Another petition calls for an end to the use of harmful pesticides in agriculture to protect farmworkers health and wellbeing. These petitions shed light on the systemic injustices faced by farmworkers and the urgent need for change in agricultural practices. Join the movement by exploring these petitions and standing in solidarity with farmworkers. Your support can help improve the lives of those who ensure our food supply and promote a more equitable and sustainable food system.
