We should be able to display the name that is our identity. No one chooses their birth name, but after that we should be able to call ourselves whatever we like.
I work from home and have to skip my first 15 minute break to combine it with my second 15 minute break to allow enough time for me to pick my daughter up from school. The car rider line sometimes take over 30 minutes to get through. Last year we were able to park and walk up and have our kid within 5 minutes. There’s no option for that now as this construction that is taking wayyyyyy too long leaves no area for us to park or walk to quickly grab our kid leaving us with no option other than to join the car rider line with hundreds of cars and wait 30 minutes plus. This is not only an inconvenience to my time but my job. I’ve been written up 2x for coming back from break late due to the hassle of picking my child up. The only other option would be to early dismiss her everyday before 2pm and I understand how important attendance is at school so that’s not an option I want to have to take. Please hurry up with this construction or at least complete the area we park and walk or place a temporary parking and walking area because there were plenty of parents who walked up to grab their children prior to this construction vs sitting in the extensive car rider line!
