We, the Tokyo Revengers fans, collectively write to express our disappointment and frustration in the fact that notwithstanding the global popularity of the show and the dedication it has from its international fanbase, there has not been an English dub for Season 3.
Now, it has been over a year since Tokyo Revengers Season 3 premiered, and the English dub-dependent fans of the show are being left far, far behind. This kind of treatment alienates a whole bunch of viewers and speaks directly against the accessibility of such a show that brought anime audiences together worldwide.
But that delay is all the more discouraging since Disney is one of those really big platforms that should lead the way for timely and inclusive content provided to all viewers. Instead, it leaves fans-people who have subscribed to streaming services and bought merchandise-feeling left out and unvalued.
Tokyo Revengers means so much more than an anime; it’s one big emotional journey of unforgettable characters, intense storytelling, and shared camaraderie with fellow fans. You are refusing so many fans a chance at that experience by not allowing them an English dub option.
We urge Disney to reconsider the release of the Season 3 English dub of Tokyo Revengers. The fans have been patient for far too long, and we deserve much more than this deafening silence.
It is for everyone, and now it’s time for Disney to step up and make sure that everyone gets to enjoy Tokyo Revengers in the language of their choice.
I have been an anime viewer for nearly 30 years now. Most anime I do prefer the sub versions due to them not watering down content. However, in the case of Tokyo Revenger the dub is a true masterpiece and is absolutely captivating to an audience. The voice actors for this show not only fit perfectly they themselves are what bring the emotion and personality of these characters to life. You can use the same dialogue with different voice actors and the show would not have the same impact it has made over the years. I personally refuse to watch unless Disney releases the dub. Matter of fact I’ll go as far to boycott Disney all together if this is the type of service the want to provide to their audience. Go back to writing fairy tales and corny love stories. Anime is not the venue for the mouse
I love this show! It helps me when I’m struggling with life. I have a hard time reading the subtitles because I miss important things in the show. My ADHD makes it hard. I miss this show! Please let me have some peace and happiness for this.
This show is so special to me but it’s so upsetting that there isn’t an English dub for the newest season. Having read the manga and been waiting excitedly to see it animated with the voices I’ve come to associate the characters with only for that to not happen is so disappointing
I don't like crunchy roll, but at least they dubbed it. Disney isn't listening to the fans and they aren't helping at all. many times I can't look at the subtitles because I fidget a lot and my brother is dyslexic, I usually watch dubs as well. I know many people close to me who have dyslexia and this is a problem as I imagine many people who love Tokyo revengers may not be able to watch the Japanese version because of reading problems or even just no subtitles at all! we need to share this master piece, but if we can't even understand it, then why? its either dub it or give it back to crunchyroll all together!
