I ended up with a surprise bill for something that seemed relatively routine. I asked them for an itemized bill and got what looked like the same exact vague information as the first bill with no actual specifics. I paid the bill off but haven't been back to a doctor since. If I ever have to see a doctor, I will be avoiding UCHealth. If that isn't possible, I would gladly leave Colorado.
Making Election Day a federal holiday in the United States could increase voter turnout by providing citizens with more time to vote without work conflicts. In the 2020 election, 13.1% of registered voters who didn’t vote cited being too busy or having scheduling conflicts as the reason. Additionally, such a holiday would celebrate democracy, turning voting into a nationwide event. This approach aligns with practices in other countries and has significant public support; a Pew Research Center survey found that nearly 80% of Democrats and nearly 70% of Republicans favor making Election Day a federal holiday.
Many teenagers, like myself, are politically educated and want a say in who rules our country. If the voting age is lowered, it means that younger voices would be heard, it would promote more voting, and possibly encourage more teens to educate themselves politically to prepare. Sixteen year olds should be allowed to vote and stand for what they believe in.
Selling animals in stores when there are so many rescues and so many animals in need of homes is wrong. Think about if you were put into a cage with a small amount of food and water and people came and stared at you and tapped on the glass and music was blasting through the store. How is that not cruel? Animals despite everyone thinking so are not property and deserve to be treated with dignity and kindness.
there should not be two tigers living in a small exhibit at an aquarium in downtown denver. idk why this is even allowed. regardless of the company, Landrys, original intentions it is beyond delusional to think this is the best environment for a tiger. their own employees have confessed they don’t get proper care. they need release these sweet babies to a sanctuary so they can have the care and space they deserve.
Keeping tigers in that tiny little enclosure is messed up. They are being treated like decorations, and not like real animals. This isnt care, its abuse. Tigers deserve a life outside of your aquarium, where they can thrive, and live their best life. I urge you to consider sending them to somewhere safe. Sincerely, Link. 🐅
