They did this to my husband too. Put him in the hospital in shock. Then had the nerve to bill him almost three thousand dollars this year after we have had to spend 13 thousand trying to fix what they destroyed. The BBB would not do anything either, refused our complaint, WTH! We filed a grievance with our state. My husband returned the worthless dentures. But still they try to charge him! His insurance is refusing to help get him the implants he so desperately needs now since they destroyed his jaw. He has not eaten solid food for almost 2 years. This has ruined his health. This should be illegal!! He nearly died!!

$44,000 and 8 months later my snap in denture don’t fit . There cheaply made ,and out of 8 anchors, 2 failed so 3 on top and 3 on bottom is all I got … $2500 per anchor. Teeth don’t match up correctly . There is nothing they can do , plus my wife witnessed what I went through at the start . Worst thing she ever saw and the shots wore off long before they were done . I thought I was going to pass out . Them temp dentures they gave me was horrible. Didn’t fit and hurt sor bad . So for 8 months I have been not wearing anything . I have my final dentures but I have to wait a week to see the dentist again . There horrible . What do I do , I’m embarrassed to say what I paid $44,000 down the drain . Ps .. also had to restitch me . And that failed Also . ☹️

In my opinion, Aspen Dental is not ethical. I saw a different dentist each visit. I was supposed to get a refund because I decided not to get aligners. It was when I was due a refund that I was told I owed Aspen Dental money. I’d already taken out a loan for coverage. Before I went to Aspen Dental, I confirmed with my dental insurance that Aspen Dental was a network provider. I was told yes. Aspen Dental refused to give me a refund for service not used. They said not all of the dentists are in network. I confirmed with my dental insurance that Aspen Dental is considered in network and they don’t list individual dentists names. Medicare was no help. They responded to my grievance that had nothing to do with my complaint. It’s ridiculous. I have 6 crowns from Aspen. When I would call Aspen with insurance rep on the phone; they would hang up. After I complained; one of the dental assistants got rough with removing a temporary crown. I actually cried and bled. After that she said; now I have to use the air sprayer. The pain was intolerable. The dentist came in and wiped my tears…I could go on and on! I write this from my personal point of view.

After 4 months of appointments for something that should not have taken over a month, the dentist informed me they couldn’t continue and I needed to go elsewhere. I had already paid $1300 down. Wasted many 2 hour drives, lots of time, just to be discarded.

I am a medical professional myself and had an upper denture placed and paid out of pocket cash for one of the better soft natural dentures they provided. Had 10 teeth removed on top due to trauma from a softball hitting my mouth. Received temporary denture and Had all follow ups over a year and a half and got permanent denture at about 7 months out. I still found myself having to keep going back due to needing more reliners because they were not staying, they were just disappearing and it would be just plain denture plate on palate again and I was still needing occasional adjustments due to fitting issues. My bite instead of bottom teeth to top teeth was not happening, my bottom teeth when biting down was biting on the very inside of the teeth on the denture on top which was causing a hard bite on the denture palate. I explained this to them but they said that was normal. Maybe it was, I don't know. I have excellent dental insurance now and have a dentist that I use for crowns, fillings cleanings etc.... I was having an issue with the denture again so I made an appointment with Aspen. When I went in I explained my situation and was refused service! I had severe ulcerations to the point of abscesses in the back of my mouth because of the sharpness of the very back plate cutting into the tissue of my mouth causing me not to be able to eat or even wear my denture. I was in extreme pain. I was denied treatment all because I shared with them my current dentist had to place a temporary soft liner on the denture 6 months prior because I could not get an appointment soon enough with Aspen to have a liner placed and was in pain then because of plate on palate which was hitting my bone on the roof of my mouth causing me to be unable to eat or wear my denture.....that's all my dentist did, nothing more nothing less just a simple soft liner to give me comfort. I guess maybe I should not have said anything about that to them because I was then told they refused to do anything with my denture because another dentist had "touched" it which "altered" the denture. How a soft liner alters a hard denture once that soft liner is not even there any longer is beyond me but that's what they said. I even told them I would pay out of pocket if they would just trim the hard denture in back cutting into my tissue and they still said no. Unbelievable! I was even going to consult with them about a new denture with implantation that my insurance covered along with a new denture and they were all for talking to me about that, but would not trim the existing denture they made for me in that was causing ulcerated abscesses in the corners of the upper back of my mouth. I just received a call from the office manager wanting to speak to me about new dentures and implantation. I simply said no thank you and I have that covered. My current dentist was in disbelief and said he wouldn't sent his Dog to Aspen. So there it is! Aspen will never get a recommendation from me and I will be sure to spread the word to my 25,000 followers in my local community area I run on social media of how Aspen dental conducts their business.

They have lied to me!! Was told that they needed to do $20,000 worth of work and when I told them I couldn't afford that they said ok we'll take all this off and final cost would be $8000. This was to include 10 teeth extractions, temporary partials then permanent partials a few months later. Had extractions and temporary done in August and here we are in December and supposed to have appointment tomorrow for permanent partials and receive a call saying "oh we can't do those until you have the other $12,000 worth of work". I would have never had any of it done had they said I had to have it all done prior to placing permanents. I have never been able to wear the temporaries so here I am unable to chew food for the past 4 months and don't have the money to do all that work!! I am at a loss of what to do now :(

My experience is a little different with Aspen dental. I went there for a second opinion for implants because I noticed snap in option. The first dentist I went to had this option as well , but for financial reasons I was weighing my options by comparing the snap ins vs an all on 4 permanent teeth. To my surprise this company is gauging folks, or scaring folks into debt. They gave me a price of $51,000 for the full procedure. The other not only was it $29,000, but it wasn’t a cheap 3D print set. I’ve decided to go with permanent implants which was still even cheaper than their snap ins at $39,000 which even covers temps and the final which are zirconia. These folks need to be stopped immediately from for their ethical conduct. No place in healthcare for used car sales people. How anyone with a shred of ethics or morals could work there is beyond belief.

Aspen Dental in Longview Texas told my daughter she had cavities and needed a root canal. I took her to another dentist. The new dentist said she had no cavities at all and did not need a root canal. Aspen is out for the big money even if they have to mutilate someone’s mouth without cause to get that money
