The justice system clearly is not strict enough on sex offences. I have experienced this kind of trauma enough times to know that there are plenty of men out there not scared whatsoever to commit this offence. The effects it has had on my mental health, and in turn my physical health and nervous system is enormous. It changes your whole life in so many different ways. If they've chosen to commit this horrid offence, then why should they be released early. In my opinion, they don't get long enough as it is. The trauma it induces is a life sentence itself.

This would also make room in our prisons for serious crimes like violent crimes and assaults with weapons. As I was raped and had my throat cut many years ago now by an ex partner and he was released after three and a half years of his five years sentence after my wish was for him to serve his full sentence, they asked me what I would prefer but still released him.

This poor lad, only 18 years old, and his family, should not have to go through this tragedy. We need to act NOW, before it escalates and the protests turn into something far worse.

Lately, I’ve seen so many crimes involving knives, and it’s heartbreaking to hear how many young people are losing their lives. We should be able to trust the police, not be afraid of them, no matter the color of our skin. The law should be the same for everyone, and everyone should be treated equally and fairly. Everyone deserves to feel secure in their community and live without fear of violence.

This sends a message to boys and men that they can do whatever they want to girls and women without consequence. It also sends a message to girls and women that there is no point looking for justice as we don’t matter. Also saying one male had ADHD and didn’t know what he was doing is offensive to all neurodivergent people and is complete nonsense. Absolutely disgusting.
