My children were removed simply because I was recording CPS showing up at my home. I was not notified of the new date for the adjudication hearing, and the judge proceeded without me. The service plan required me to participate in drug court, though I never failed a drug test or was arrested on a drug charge.

My daughter died on November 17th of 2024 she left behind her 10 year old daughter Brooklyn, Cps put her with what they call "fiktive kin" a term passed through legislation in 2023 if you read the statute it states this is used for children who have no family, she has 2 loving grandparents, 4 aunts and 2 uncles and we as a family are fighting this! The "fiktive kin" does this for money she has 2 other foster kids in a small trailer, we her grandparents have a 5 bedroom home where she has her own room and her family has an established relationship with the child since she was born! "Fiktive kin" has friends in Child Protective Services and that is the only reason she has my granddaughter! I can't believe the bias in this case!
Kathy supported: CHANGE CPS AND ADOPTION LAWS!! BIOLOGICAL PARENTS AND CHILDREN RIGHTS‼️
Here’s a rewritten, powerful version of your message: --- My name is Destiny, and I’m here to share a story that has profoundly impacted my life. I am a mother of five beautiful children and have been fighting for them with every ounce of strength I have. For over a year now, my children have been taken from my care—six long months in two separate stranger homes where they’ve faced harm, neglect, and fear. The system that removed my children didn’t find abuse in my home. Neglect and lack of supervision were also not proven. Yet, they tore my family apart. I take accountability for my struggles with methamphetamine in the past, but I’ve been in treatment and have complied with everything asked of me. Despite my efforts, the system continues to fail my family, putting up impossible barriers and further traumatizing my children. Before all this, I was a stay-at-home mom who gave her all to her kids. Our family faced dark times—a near-tragedy with our 16-year-old’s suicide attempt, my husband battling alcoholism, losing his father, our home, our vehicle, and then our children. And still, I rose, determined to rebuild. But instead of help, I found a system that treats children like numbers and families like obstacles. The Department of Human Services, along with judges, lawyers, and county attorneys, have shown a devastating lack of understanding about mental health, domestic violence, and the real needs of families. They failed to listen when my children spoke up about being abused in foster homes. They left them in unsafe places, made reckless decisions for convenience, and denied them the stability they deserve. My son went without his asthma medication for over a month. My children weren’t even allowed to say goodbye to us when they were taken. Their voices, their fears, and their hopes were ignored. Now, by the grace of God, my children are with my aunt, finally in safe hands. But the scars left by this broken system remain. They’ve instilled fear, uncertainty, and mistrust in my babies—trauma that will follow them for years to come. This is bigger than just my family. I have watched other families suffer under this system—good families torn apart, children left voiceless, and those who truly need help abandoned. It’s not about what’s best for the children anymore; it’s about power, bureaucracy, and quotas. We must demand change. We must hold this system accountable. Our children are not numbers, paychecks, or cases—they are human beings. Families deserve compassion, understanding, and the chance to heal. I won’t stop fighting for my children, for your children, for all children who have been failed by this system. To anyone going through this nightmare, I see you, I stand with you, and I pray for your strength. Together, we must rise and demand that no more families endure this pain. Let’s fight for our children because they deserve nothing less than our all. --- Let me know if you'd like any further adjustments.
Destiny supported: Restore a Mother's Custody: Allow My Daughter Back Home from Iowa DHS
She has nothing but love for that girl she would move heaven and Earth to keep her safe and out of harm's Way. Aurora should be with her mother. My brother's daughter should be with her mother.

I have 5 children. Only two left due to egregious injustice with CPS in California. 3 years and my appeals were denied. The workers were found to have committed. Perjury... On several occasions. And illegally Drew out our time services past the timelines on several occasions.... This needs to change now. Cps should be protecting families not finding families to adopt to for their own price and incentives is child trafficking
Jennifer supported: End Child Removals and Custody Battles: Propose an Amendment to Protect Families
I have had false allegations made against me and had to have my children subjected to CPS and the ugliness that comes from thier investigation just because one angry bitter person made a 2 min call making up whatever came to mind to try and do harm to me. There needs to be better laws to protect the parents and the childern but to also hold CPS workers accountable more.

DCF refuses me to see my granddaughter after raising her for 5 years since she was 7mo. Old. They removed her after receiving a false report phone into the emergency department of DCF. Had a hearing signed and summited documents 11/29/24 waiting for decision. I reached out to Dcf Newman times through emails three times a week every week every month to have an in person visit with my granddaughter. I last saw her in May in person and then on a video towards the end of July. After that visit, I was emailed that there was some problems pertaining to that video visit, which was taken place on FaceTime through the caseworkers phone. The video lasted for an hour. She was smiling when she saw us my husband and my other granddaughter (her sister )who is 10 years old. My five-year-old granddaughter asked for a tour of the house, which I gave her during that video visit. She recognized everything as it remained from the day she was taken.. when I asked to see my granddaughter at five years old Dcf team tells me that now she’s afraid of me she don’t wanna see me her sister of 10 finally got to see her November 15. We missed her birthday September as we did request in person visits, when asked if we could give her a birthday gift on the November 15 visit my 10 year-old granddaughter was told no keep it simple. I reached out to the ombudsman numerous times & directly to north central Director. According to the director, they’re doing an investigation to actually see what’s going on with the case. My granddaughter was removed because my son of 33 years old showed up at my house unannounced that afternoon May 1,2024 my five year old granddaughter was in school for the whole day. I was home doing my household chores when my son arrived, said he stopped by to use the restroom and later found himself to the living room where he had overdosed. When my son was removed by the EMTs and brought to the emergency room hospital. I reacted immediately saved his life. Dcf says I should be held accountable for allowing him in my home. There is so much detail to the story literally it makes me ill how they just ripped her from her home. On May 2 ,2024 I was told I’m never getting her back because I obviously care about my son more then my granddaughter. No investigation was done. They went by allegations on the report that was done by my five year old granddaughter‘s mother and at the Hearing she told the hearing officer she lied about the report because she wanted her sister to have her daughter she didn’t want me to have the right to adopt her and we were so close to the adoption. The mother had a friend phone in emergency number to Dcf as she sat by her and coached what to say looking at this 51 a which turned into a B is the same report she did a year ago just a different name titled at the top on who made the report. Here it is seven months later myself and my family, including my 10-year-old daughter granddaughter to whom I also raised for 6 1/2 years has seen my precious granddaughter at five twice. I’ve seen her video once July granddaughter saw her video July and in person November When I spoke with Dcf in June on the seventh again they told me it was never getting her back I shed tears and they told me I was unstable that I needed to seek therapy to understand my son‘s drug addict addiction. Mind you for 4 1/2 years. I’ve supervised visits here at my home for my son to see his daughters. Dcf was aware that my son had a drug addiction, but still I could do in homes visit. His in-home visit stopped due to too much drama between him and the babies, mama Dcf constantly getting emails of false allegations
Monica supported: Urge Governor Maura Healey to Include DCF Impacted Individuals in Decision Making
I've had this happen but different circumstances so I wanted to support this family in their fight since I didn't win mine but did everything I was asked to do. I pray your case gets resolved quickly. Our children don't deserve to be treated like they've done something wrong just to prove our innocence. This needs to stop. Help protect our children
