Consumer rights refer to legal protections that safeguard individuals purchasing goods and services from unfair, deceptive, or fraudulent business practices. These rights include safety from hazardous products, access to accurate information for informed choices, and remedies for defective items or poor service. They apply globally through federal, state, and international laws addressing issues like false advertising, debt collection, and product liability.

Consumer rights matter due to ongoing risks from fraud, scams, and misleading practices in expanding online and digital marketplaces. Businesses and regulators face scrutiny over product safety, transparent labeling, and fair financial services, affecting buyers' health, finances, and choices. Individuals, especially in everyday transactions, rely on these protections amid evolving commerce challenges like digital IDs and AI moderation.

I am a player since 2025. As a sensei, I decided to spend some money on this game because it had the least predatory gacha system of any game which had interesting story and gameplay in the gacha type. This change would shift it to the worst aspects of the worse type of gacha rewards. It could cause me to stop playing entirely.
I've been a clothing artist for the past 6 years and have helped work on clothes for other groups purely for the enjoyment of users on the platform. It is highly disheartening how many restrictions we've been receiving with ai moderation warning or banning us already, and cuts to the revenue we make is already low enough. I like to create work that other users can enjoy using throughout the platform, and having my own take on certain styles of clothing really helps to excel the unique qualities that the Roblox community beholds. These changes will only cause more issues for smaller creators who want to get their work out there in the light, and as someone who was once in that stage, it'll only create harder times for them. Not everyone is willing to spend money on all these tasks just to have their clothing out there, and I stand for those who'll come after us.
I am a roblox 2D clothing designer. This update will make my job completely unsustainable. The creators on the platform CREATE the whole platform. Without designers and creators Roblox would be nothing. I don't understand why Roblox would not listen to us and understand what the community actually wants. Everyone wears 2D clothing. No 2D clothing designer is going to be excited about this update. Not to mention, making our income less than half of the small amount we get already and then adding a HUGE fee that most of us can not rationalize. I hope they reconsider.
I am a Roblox 2D clothing creator who spends hours hand-drawing every design from scratch. Every piece requires patience, creativity, and attention to detail, after finishing a design I still have to pay Robux just to publish it. Even after paying the publishing fee, there’s no guarantee anyone will ever see my work because of how difficult discovery has become on the Roblox Marketplace. It is heartbreaking to invest so much time, effort, and money into creating original clothing only to receive little to no visibility or sales. Many talented independent creators struggle to compete with large groups and established brands, while constant marketplace changes and higher publishing costs make it even harder to grow. I hope Roblox continues improving support for small creators by making clothing discovery fairer, reducing publishing barriers, and providing better opportunities for original artists to reach potential buyers. The Roblox creator community thrives because of passionate designers, and every creator deserves a realistic chance to have their work seen, appreciated, and purchased.
I’ve been using TV Time for 10+ years back when it was TVShowTime. This app is the app I use the most. It’s pinned to my phone because it’s the top app I use. I’ve spent 10 years writing comments some extremely long, engaging with others building a community. It’s been such a special place to come together with people to discuss TV, especially when you’re the only one you know watching a show, it’s nice to have someone to talk to about it. It’s not just data we will lose years and years of comments, reviews, and community. To not even give us a chance to save it, is so unfair.
I love all the characters and care deeply for the story of the game. I have been pulling for everyone and spending substantial amounts of actual money on the game for the better part of a year. I can't support the removal of a planned and advertised character like this. This destroys the integrity of the story and worldbuilding in an irreparable way. I will no longer be part of this game if this continues.
