Conservation Awareness

Had a photo taken on my wedding day on the grand staircase breaks my heart that a beautiful place has been left to be a pile of ruins when it has so much potential

It is very heartening to see Sri Lanka is losing one of its National Treasures (Elephants) and their right to existence due to ignorance of relevant authorities and loss of habitats by human activities. Outcry for a sustainable solution to protect the Gentle Giants has not been receiving any favourable response is very dissaponting heart breaking. I hope this petition will receive attention of all concerned authorities including the Head of the State.

My husband and I are watching National Geographic, Secrets of the Elephants and we are appalled at what we are seeing. The greed of man tearing down the natural habitat of any animal is heartbreaking. We do not want or need palm oil in our food, especially when it is destroying the natural feeding grounds of the majestic, beautiful elephants! We are both so angry at what we have learned is happening in Asia to wildlife!
