Yes! Please install pickle ball lines in the hockey rink at Alexandra Park and more courts too. Playing pickle ball has helped me emotionally with my father’s transitioning, mentally to be focused, physically to be active and socially to be with other people! Thank you for more courts and pickle ball lines in the park!
I wanted to share some concerns regarding the ongoing construction in our Dufferin community. It seems that the road lighting is insufficient, which can make it difficult for residents, especially those of us who don’t drive, to navigate while carrying laundry carts or other necessities.
Additionally, the construction noise at night can be pretty disruptive, and I worry about the safety of children crossing the street, particularly with the ongoing preparations for the new developments.
It would be beneficial to update the signal lights to ensure everyone's safety, as there is a risk of accidents when cars make turns. It might be worth considering pausing the project temporarily to assess how we can better address the needs of our community.
If the aim is to create a cycle lane, I hope we can find solutions that enhance Dufferin St instead of complicating it further. I appreciate the efforts to improve our area, and I’m hopeful we can collaborate on making choices that will benefit our community. Thank you for considering our feedback! City Hall should fix falling roads, such as the Dovercourt and Hallam areas. Or another street that needs more repairing, not Dufferin St
How can Dufferin St residents live with no stopping, no unloading groceries, no accommodation for tradespeople to maintain our homes, no opportunity for tenants to move in and out, and then we all stare at the RED LANE as a reminder that required living conditions are enjoyed buy everyone else except those of us who live on Dufferin St? Rationality would have to agree that this is not part of a definition of community living!
Sara's death has affected me deeply, I will always love her. Losing Sara's YouTube channel feels like she's died all over again. Please bring back her YouTube channel, those videos were Sara sharing her love.
Sara was a wonderful, kind, woman who shared her love of cooking with so many people. It is so sad to not be able to still have her in our lives. She felt like a friend to so many people. I felt like I had a friend and I was right there in her kitchen with her. Please bring her videos back.
