I raced at the fond du lac BMX track the first year it opened. Even when there were no races we were there riding and practicing. The community needs something like this. Outside activities are slowly dissappearing and lack of spaces doesn't help.

Fond du Lac doesn't have a whole lot as it is so bringing this back to life would be a start. Most families have to travel to appleton for fun especially in the winter. We don't have common things like indoor playgrounds, indoor trampoline parks, arcades, etc.. Taking things away is not the right move. We need things like this around to keep kids off the streets and give them a healthy way to express themselves and have fun.

It would be good for the kids to go ride and give them something else to do around here. I raced for a couple years there when I was a teenager and it was one of the greatest places to be in fond du lac at the time. I’d love to see it come back!!!

I am from Rhinelander Wi. My family of State champion riders have spent many years our youth traveling to state races at this very track. Riding bikes on a track keep kids off the street and out of trouble. It grows their strength and builds confidence. Don't be selfish, keep this track going!

I spent a lot of time at this track as a kid, and it was always a lot of fun. It was a shame when we showed up and the gates were locked. It would be really cool to see it open as a community park again for kids to enjoy

Bring back this amazing track for the kids and even the adults! It’s a great way to bring the community back together giving an opportunity for everyone to get out on their bikes again! My son raced BMX and it was such an amazing event to go watch! Something fun for all ages!!!!

I grew up racing bmx and it would be a shame to see any track or any recreational area for kids to close. Bmx is not just a sport but a second family that teaches you discipline, sportsmanship, and builds character, confidence, and camaraderie with with friends and fellow riders. Anyone who rides bikes knows how important it is to keep facilities like this open

Please consider reopening this track, there are lots of kids that are going to be with out a race track to race at. With tracks being closed and bought out there isn't anything in the southern part of Wi. That is driveable several times a week. My son loves to race and will not have a place to go. Lots of kids in the madison/deforest area will also be with out a track. We are willing to put our time into this along with several other families as well! Non profit organization Raceroots.org, will have a website coming very soon! All we need is to get the Fond Du Lac City on board with this great opportunity for everyone along with bringing lots of revenue to local businesses.

A community bike park and track would bring families together, new people to the sport and provide additional outlets for many!

The Fdl loop and upgrades to the city for biking has been great for this town. The only missing piece is a community family bike park.

The communities around this great country who have great bike parks are better off because of it.

Families ride bike parks. People of all ages can ride bikes there and so much more can be done in addition the racing.

A pump track and skills area would be a phenomenal addition. I’ve ridden numerous tracks in several states because it is so much fun so we make the trek!

As a dad x 6 and hometown kid, this is near and dear to my heart. I challenge anyone of any skill level who can ride a bicycle to try out a pump track. It will get you into shape and put a smile on your face, every-time.

The new play grounds in town are awesome! This community bike park is a much needed playground for many! Some don’t even know it yet!
