The streets of Edgware became neglected, full of litter, fly-tipping. The pavements are broken and dirty. The council wants to push for more construction in Edgware, while it doesn’t manage to provide a basic service of keeping the neighborhood clean, maintained and green. The population moving in due to massive flat construction in surrounding areas significantly contributes to the current situation. While paying high council taxes, the residents should be able to see that the money is spent into providing a dignified living environment and service for the residents.
We are losing far too much precious green space - this place is vital for our struggling wildlife the environment and people’s wellbeing it should be left alone
As a family we use the land and the park daily. For walks and to talk our daughter to the park. We love the open air, the greenery and lack of cars.
We would be devastated to lose it. The impact on the traffic in the area would also be disastrous. On a normal day traffic is a nightmare let alone a training or match day.
I strongly object to the proposed football stadium on the greenfield site in Brookfield Park, Barnet. This development would lead to the destruction of valuable green space, which serves as a vital recreational area for local residents and a habitat for wildlife. The increased traffic, noise, and light pollution would significantly impact the peaceful nature of the area and disrupt the local community. Instead of replacing natural open space with concrete infrastructure, efforts should focus on preserving and enhancing the park for future generations.
