Make your voice heard!

It’s been over a year since this petition started. More than 1,500 residents have put their names forward, asking for simple, basic improvements to Edgware’s Station Road. Yet nothing material has changed.

The pavements are still broken, cracked, uneven, and neglected. The dirty phone boxes remain a painful eyesore. There are still not enough bins, so cigarette butts are everywhere. The entrances to Edgware Station and the shopping centre are poorly maintained and give the wrong first impression of our community. And despite all the discussion, no proper cleaning solution or pavement washing machine has been introduced.

This is not about big, complex projects. These are basic standards that every resident should expect, especially considering the council tax we all pay.

At some point, silence becomes acceptance. And that point should not be now.

With elections approaching, it is time for every resident of Edgware to ask two simple questions: Are we proud of Station Rd, the heart and face of our community? And are we getting value for our money?

If the answer to even one of these questions is no, then it’s time to speak up, be heard, and expect better.

Edgware deserves better, so make your voice heard!
