I have known Aaron for two years & in that time, I have seen nothing but kindness, patience & genuine care from him. He is someone I trust completely, even with my own children, because he loves them & they love him. Aaron has never been a threat to anyone; he is gentle, thoughtful, and always willing to help others. It’s heartbreaking to see him in this situation because I know the person he truly is. I fully believe he deserves the chance to move forward & rebuild his life. I stand by Aaron and hope he is given the opportunity to prove the good that so many of us see in him.

I live in Tennessee and my autistic daughter has already been sent a troubling letter. Please fight for her!

I am appalled by the government's plans to place autistic people on a national database and the intent to violate the HIPAA act by accessing the personal medical information of a group of people being singled out for political reasons. Autism advocates have long been at work educating people on autism and standing up for the rights of neurodivergent people and that work is at great risk by the current political system's offensive rhetoric and sinister plans. Please rally behind the autism community during this dark and frightening time.

Austic people have a right to privacy, confidentiality, and respect. This mandatory database is extremely suspicious and scary. It is treating autistic induviduals like they are not human beings, but objects that can't think for themselves. It calls to a larger fascist myth of a 'superior race' that will only continue to grow. Hopefully this organization and petition will help put a stop to it.

Leave autistic people alone. We are not a threat to anyone. We are not criminals. We are human beings who should not be singled out or ‘listed,’ anywhere. This is an a very slippery slope that could lead to eugenics and genocide. It starts with an othering and a list of names. Do not allow this to be taken any further. Please. I beg you.

I have never been this afraid in my life. It's one fear to watch people be kidnapped all over the united states. But it's another fear entirely to watch as you are being put on the nest roundup list. This can not go on. Innocent people all over the United States are already being taken, and now they are trying yo list out anyone with autism, that RFK thinks will make us never be capable of taking care of our selves. This is terrifying and my love and support goes to all this affects

Autistic individuals deserve the same rights and protections as neurotypical people. Neurodivergent and disabled people are PEOPLE TOO. Having our government violate HIPPA laws with no repercussions or backlash is unacceptable. We should not be targeted or kept on a database for medical differences that are completely out of our control. We aren't harming anyone by being autistic and disabled. We aren't a threat for being autistic and disabled. We are HUMAN. We have HUMAN RIGHTS. That includes medical privacy, that is information for the individual and their medical providers ONLY. This needs to end here.

As a clinician specializing in neurodiversity, I am appalled at the misinformation and targeting of neurodiverse persons. Research has moved us forward in our understanding and permitted us to refine our diagnostic processes to provide more support for neurodiverse members of our society. 20 percent of the population falls somewhere in the neurodiverse umbrella, and there has already been a strong genetic link found, dispelling many of the previous myths and debunking the strength of prior theories. Autistic children have been targeted in history for medical testing and extermination, which set us back significantly in our understanding and acceptance of neurodiverse persons. Creating a list violates privacy laws and places persons at risk for exploitation and compounded systemic trauma.

The number of autistic people whose lives touch mine is innumerable at this point and the repeat of history is a horrifying step towards eugenics, a part of history that has been often ignored and censored. This has to stop. People who don’t look like the MAGA “ideal American”, interact with the world like they do, or exist as they think they should can’t just be tracked and “cured” by people who don’t believe in science or care about anyone but themselves. People deserve to exist and deserve respect and support (as needed) in the way they exist.

This is huge violation of privacy and anyone's medical information should not be public knowledge and should not be able to be used by the government to single people out. The current government administration wants to put autistic people into concentration/work camps and to use these databases to do it. This is terrifying and I am scared as a late diagnosed AuDHD woman about my future as an American citizen that cannot afford to leave or mask my symptoms long term for my own safety. ❤️
