While others hid, Kurds fought. More than 15,000 Kurdish martyrs gave their lives to protect humanity and defeat ISIS. Their sacrifice was not only for Kurdistan, but for the safety of the entire world. And now we ask: how can the world, and especially the United States, abandon Kurdish forces who proved their loyalty and courage, and instead tolerate or empower figures linked to terrorism in the past? How can a former terrorist be trusted to fight terrorism? This is not justice. This is not logic. This is betrayal. Rojava is being destroyed, and the world is silent.
