As an artist I understand the want to improve your visuals. However, this could've been done more mindfully while staying true to the original. The proportions, contrast, and detailing is off. Shrek is beloved by many and iconic throughout the world. Might as well take the feedback and put out something that will please people rather than being fast with a release. I care about this because I've seen more and more issues with continuations of characters and series' artistic renditions. There seems to be too much change happening when it comes to already established and loved subjects. Change is fine when done tastefully and with your fans in mind, but things keep getting pushed too far.

the fact that multiple movie remakes have not changed the original animation style(toy story being the most prominent in my mind) goes to show that this was not necessary. shrek is a childhood classic for millions of people, and it is extremely disappointing to see that my childhood favorites do not look the same anymore. stop trying to be "up to date" with trends; fix the animation style and go back to the original style everyone loves.

As one of the original viewers to the franchise, now mom to a new generation of fans, our entire family is shocked and disgusted at the animation. Not one character looks like we have seen, loved, for years. Great you have all the characters' original actors, but we'll be boycotting this and subsequent movies if the animation stays the same. The franchise will stop at Shrek Ever After in this home. These movies have been celebrated for generations. Give us what your true, loyal fans want. We want the original animation and with the characters their original way.

As a kid born in 2003, Shrek was one of the first movies that I was able to actually remember, alongside the polar express, and white fang. These are my childhood nostalgia, and I find it... frankly offensive that although "times are changing" you feel the need (DreamWorks) to change an animation style that has worked perfectly for four movies. Please harken back to weaving dreams, and not profits. This I implore.

My daughter is disabled both mentally and physically, but this show is absolutely her favorite and I feel awful that it's the same episodes but she still enjoys it no matter what. If somehow someway I can impact anyone to actually make more of her favorite show I absolutely will try. If you do make more, you will hands down have one viewer watching every episode everyday.
