I love on Hwy 86 aka Bessie Rd and all these new subdivisions are making getting out of my driveway a challenge. The infrastructure needs repairs. What about schools, Woodmont is already full. This is getting out of hand. Nothing wrong with growing Greenville, but enough is enough. Stop with the building in this area.

Animal sanctuaries are essential, especially as so many animals are abandoned due to neglect and the lack of spaying and neutering, which contributes to overpopulation. I fully support this sanctuary for its dedication to rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned animals, giving them a second chance at life. Through their care, these animals regain their trust, find joy again, and are given the opportunity to be placed in loving homes.

I have worked in animal welfare my entire adult life and places like Northwest Pines are essential to providing places for unwanted pets. Without places like these, the number of pets euthanized would increase significantly. I have been to Northwest Pines and I believe they have a wonderful facility. The animals are well cared for and Kimberly and her husband are some of the kindest folks you will ever meet.

Mr. Leigh and Mrs. Kim Godwin, whom I met through my Apostle Dartameon Leonard a few years ago, have embodied the compassionate spirit of Christ through their unwavering love and support. This remarkable couple has opened their hearts and home to care for displaced animals, transforming their farm into a haven that is a joy to visit. The farm is especially cherished by children, including those with special needs, who find it a welcoming and enriching place. Despite receiving no financial assistance, they continue to dedicate themselves to this noble cause. I urge you to sign this petition to recognize and honor their selfless efforts, ensuring their voices are heard and their contributions valued. Your support will help amplify their impact and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.

As the Past-President of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station Associates, and a farmer, I am absolutely flabbergasted that the CT. Department of Agriculture has approved development of two easement protected properties for residential development. The easement language of the 1980's might not have been as strong as today, but the intent to preserve farmland was equally as strong. Governor Lamont and Attorney General Tong must intervene to retract the Ag. Department approval. Sadly, prime agricultural land is a rapidly disappearing resource in Connecticut.

There are a couple million noisy spaces in the region. There is one that is quiet. Noise is not obligated to devour everything. It is the quiet one that takes me to Isanti County. I am always sensitive to the "last person" moving to the quiet edge--then wanting everyone else to stay away. That is not reality. But all owners ought be able to depend on the planning/zoning under which they became owners. In my city, rental venues are very problematic. Every event is different, with different clientele, run by different renters--often attracting a crowd that has staying in-bounds as the last thing on their mind. Even when tightly enforced--even the amount of enforcement activity can be disruptive to calm.

We need places of peace and silence now more than ever. It's helped me become a better person. Please don't destroy the tranquility of this space.

I was gifted a stay at Pacem in Terris by a very dear friend who knew I was in a place of needing quiet rest in God's presence. Pacem in Terris provided me much solace and spiritual reflection in the midst of a very strenuous time of adversity. I am so grateful for the experience and the kindness that was shown by the staff. Please come experience the solitude for yourself so that you know what it's like and to not grant a conditional use for this venue. Thank you

Pacem is a place of peace, silence, and rest that has been a gift to me and many others! It’s important to protect the silence so that it can continue to be a haven for people.
