I am a full time wheelchair and i heavily rely on Changing Places Toilets when I am out and about. I believe that Changing Places Toilets are essential to be built in all establishments. For example clothes shops, cafes and restaurants, in all supermarkets, airports, Cinemas and Theatres, Ferry ports and lastly in at all shopping centres both big and small. As I have degenerate conditions of my spine and cerebral palsy which in my case is a degenerative condition. I have recently been diagnosed with Generalised Dystonia, which is also a degenerative condition, which is means as I get older it will get worse and I will become a full time wheelchair and a full time Changing Place Toilet User and a Hoist User. I have constant and very severe episodes of Tremors and Spasms as I causes me to have full assistance and support of my Personal Assistants. I hope this gives you a taster of why I need to have the availability of Changing places Toilets. I have been recently with a Rare Disease called Generalised Dystonia that affects all four of my limbs and it affects my neck, which means overtime I will become a Full- Time Wheelchair User and a Changing Places User. So really will impact why what I do and where I can go with my Personal Assistants.
