Animal sanctuaries are essential, especially as so many animals are abandoned due to neglect and the lack of spaying and neutering, which contributes to overpopulation. I fully support this sanctuary for its dedication to rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned animals, giving them a second chance at life. Through their care, these animals regain their trust, find joy again, and are given the opportunity to be placed in loving homes.

Without places like these, the number of pets euthanized would increase significantly. I have been to Northwest Pines and I believe they have a wonderful facility. The animals are well cared for and Kimberly and her husband are some of the kindest folks you will ever meet.

Lee Asher has procured millions of dollars of real estate from donations meant for these dogs. His patreon videos show his true nature. I'd like to see the Asher house/Lee Asher shut down and the truth of what happened to Chevy and other deceased dogs made public knowledge. Please investigate and do the right thing. Many dogs lives depend on you. Revoke his 501c and do a thorough investigation of his premises in order to expose the hoarding situation, the hidden dogs, the dead dogs, the lies. Please do the right thing and investigate.

Please stop this senseless act and inhumane treatment to helpless animals that have no voice! This exact same thing happened to us to our poor rescue that they would not explain what happened to him when he went back to get neutered from a rescue in Massachusetts! Our poor Popeye never heard or seen of him again after the ACO said that he was not adoptable anymore since he showed some aggression after we explained to them over and over that he had hormone aggression and just needed to be fixed. They are monsters.

Though I am not financially well off or have the ideal housing situation for us I do my best to make room for him in my life to keep him from the shelter system that would surely be a death sentence. His breed oftentimes cannot be given the opportunity to be given the privilege of life and to be shown compassion, respect, and love that troubled animals (and people) really need. The fact is that we have a tragic situation that needs addressing in our relationship with animals. I am signing as I cannot turn a blind eye on suffering, and am giving my support for this petition in hope of helping these animals.
