Petition to MTV
Cancel MTV's Made in Staten Island or remove the borough's name from the title
The portrayal of Staten Island as a cesspool of gangsters, meatheads and low lives appears to be main and focus of MTV show development in recent years. The launch of this new show "Made in Staten Island" is just another iteration of the aforementioned. It is built on the premise that kids from Staten Island all grow up surrounded by the mafia in their lives; this is far from the truth. If anything these kids are growing up in the opioid epidemic that is taking the lives of their friends and family, they are suffering the breakdown of traditional family values. These are the real epidemics surrounding our youth; ones that do not descriminate and impacts all equally. Perhaps MTV should focus on these epidemics and their impact on our youth rather than how "lucky" Karina is to have the guidance of her grandfather, notorious mob murder turned informant, "Sammy The Bull" Gravano. A show like this demeans what it is to be from Staten Island; something that should never be encouraged especially when it is untrue. Staten Island has the one of the highest per capita incomes out of the five boroughs and we also have several higher education institutions with very good graduation rates and excellent Public Schools serviced by caring teachers. For MTV though promoting and glorifying individuals of poor moral character seems to sell more than addressing real issues that kids are dealing with. This is evident by the other series that are active or have been on the network such as the Jersey Shore, 16 and Pregnant and the likes thereof. I am asking that you stand with me and sign this petition to cancel or change the title of this show and protect the reputation of our home. Petition to Netflix, Warner Brothers, Amazon.com
Warner Brothers, Netflix, or Amazon Prime, Please make a Chuck Movie!
We, the undersigned, fans of the TV Show Chuck, spurred on by a recent interview done by Zachary Levi http://comicbook.com/movies/2017/12/04/zachary-levi-chuck-movies/ Want Chuck revived in 2 hour movies on Netflix! And now that Amazon Prime has picked up Chuck to do the movies there. Chuck was a very unique series, Not only was the Acting, Writing, Directing etc. Outstanding. Not only did it blend more genres then any other show, and equally well. But there was, and continues to be, a unique Loyalty among fans, that has continued to grow, in the over 5 years, since it was Cancelled. Thanks to social media, Netflix, and now Amazon Prime, Chuck's fan base all over the world has grown & continues to do so! It would work well on Netflix where the old episodes were creating new fans everyday and would be a great new addition to the growing number of original movies and shows on the site, plus it would give it a broad based PG audience show. Most Original shows on Netflix are either Mature for Adults or for little kids, so Chuck would give it a broad based audience. It would Work well on Amazon Prime where The Chuck show has it's new home and get Amazon Prime a lot of new subscribers! Chucksters fought successfully to keep Chuck on the air and will do so again! Thank you!
Petition to Netflix, Nickelodeon
Nickelodeon hit series Big Time Rush on NETFLIX
The story about four high school friends from Minnesota who went to Los Angeles to become a boy band. The four teenage, high-school,hockey players Kendall Knight, Carlos Garcia, Logan Mitchell and James Diamond. THE BOY BAND PROJECT by Nickelodeon’s producer Scott Fellows. The idea to create a comedy television series about a boy band that shows the ins and outs of the music industry, with a lot of humor and incredible music, has lead to huge success. It’s Nickelodeon's highest-rated live-action series ever. In addition to the show the band is signed up at Columbia Records. The series contains cameos with a lot of artists like Nicole Scherzinger, Snoop Dogg, Jordin Sparks, Russel Brand and more. After the tv series ended in 2013 and finishing their tour through North and South America. The band went on hiatus in 2014 the members Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson, James Maslow and Carlos PenaVega are now working on several solo projects, but a reunion is most likely to happen. BIG TIME RUSH ON NETFLIX After three years since the final episode called ‘BIG TIME DREAMS’ aired on nick. Nickelodeon has been broadcasting the show less. With all the new Nickelodeon shows coming up Big Time Rush has been pushed into the weekend schedule and on very early mornings. (This varies per country) Adding up the fact that Nickelodeon hasn’t released all seasons on DVD yet. We from the BigTimeVoters and BTRHDEurope fanclub keep an eye on everything around the band and the tv show and something caught our eye. Not only do fans beg for more BTR on Nick, but also NON-fans are highly interested in the show. They are saddened by the fact they can’t find all BTR episodes on their favorite place to be… NETFLIX! (Only the 1st season is shown on Netflix.) Did you know only in LATAM gets to see all seasons on Netflix? Why?? Not even in the United States it's available. We’re now asking for NickFlix collaboration to put the most successful Nickeldeon tv series on Netflix and make it available for Netflix users WORLDWIDE no exeptions. The full seasons 1 to 4 and the Big Time Movie. Because the world needs more BTR.. not just on stage also on screen! Not only will this solve the issues. It will also expand the audience of BTR by making it available to more people. Due the shows huge success It will lead to a win-win situation for both Nickelodeon as Netflix. We have opened this petition for every Netflix user and all the Big Time Rush fans (Rushers) out there who want this to happen. We hope that both Nick as Netflix will take this request into consideration. - BigTimeVoters/BTRHDEurope

Bizaardvark Wizard of Oz Episode
Since the Disney Channel show Bizaardvark was renewed for a 3rd season this year, I would figure that I cooperate with an episode which would make progress. Here's the story for this petition. When I've watched both seasons, they were really amazing and somehow I had a thought after seeing one of the episodes. That thought was: A special episode of Bizaardvark with a spoof on The Wizard of Oz and I already got the name Ozaardvark last year with the characters from the show [like in the picture above] for the roles. It would be funny & enjoyable for viewers and fans everywhere. We see that in some TV shows past and present has some references to the movie [quotes, themes, etc.] and all because it's legend in movie history, but this one would be great for fans of both Wizard of Oz and Bizaardvark to watch whether a half-hour or 1 hr. special like they’ve never done before. If I can help Disney Channel make that happen, then so can you. I don't care what people say about the show or its stars, it's a great one and we can hope for an episode like this to occur unless we do something about it together. This would also work without 2 of the show's main creators Josh Lehrman & Kyle Stegina since I've learned that they left, but it'll be okay without them 'cuz we can always remember that in the first place, it was they who made the show from the beginning. Just imagine Amelia, Paige, Frankie & Bernie going somewhere over the rainbow and down the Yellow Brick Road. If they're going to make some videos, Oz is the perfect place to do it and there's no place like home for Bizaardvark. Sign this petition, support and share! Good luck. #Ozaardvark

Bring Back Sliders
It's been years since the finale of the scifi series Sliders. But a new beginning could close the book to a job unfinished. Those first two seasons had the perfect blend of adventure, fiction and comedy. It was the 90s, it was a time where things were indeed more simple and less complicated. There’s no question that it was the golden era for science fiction on television. Any and every 90s show seems to be getting the nod for a reboot. Whether it be Full House, or the X-Files there’s something missing and it’s Sliders. There’s one supreme advantage that Sliders has over these other shows. It’s the literal unlimited possibilities writers could create for parallel worlds. And I’m afraid that your studio, Universal Studios, fails to see this as an advantage. Jerry O’Connell once said that’s why he loves Sliders so much because “its not like other televisions shows where you’re stuck in a emergency room every episode or you’re stuck in police precinct. It’s a different show every week.” The possibilities are indeed endless with different dimensions. The man to get the job done for a miniseries would be Sliders co-creator Tracy Tormé who has won the hearts and minds of a cult scifi generation. When Slidecage interviewed Jerry O’Connell and talked about a possible reprise he mentioned that Tormé is the boss. And rightly so. He would be the one who has seen what has worked and what hasn’t in his time working on Sliders. His experience with writing and negotiating in a day and age where the parallel universe concept is becoming more widely known is key to success. If you’re truly connected to a story and characters of a science fiction medium you want to know the whole story, not a new one. What would “Back to the Future” be without Michael J. Fox? Or “Indiana Jones” without Harrison Ford? There are many fans here and abroad waiting, hoping, believing that a return will happen. That’s not to say a series reinvention is out of the question, but capping off a cliffhanger story is more important. Obviously it wouldn’t be an easy feat to explain a resolution to the chaos that ensued over two and a half seasons. Trying to tell a new story to new viewers and old diehard fans would require a delicate and precise balancing act. A theatrical movie would be out of the question. The average movie length is two hours which would likely not give enough time to wrap up the past and give us more action beyond that. A continuation with a new season six could end up in disaster with cast changes or even cancellation without a resolution yet again. It would seem the only viable option is a miniseries that could not only give enough screen time but allow a set finale that would leave everyone happy. Finally at that point, a reinvention or next generation would seem appropriate. Sliders went through a lot in five seasons. Actors left the show, plots drastically changed at times, and the series ended on a cliffhanger. Nevertheless Sliders still had very high ratings and kept continuity in it’s fifth and final season. Many would call the Sliders story a train wreck that could never be put back together. If Universal Studios leaves it a mess, its essentially a cheap shot to it’s fans. Let me explain. Co-Creator Tracy Tormé saw the need for viewers to be “in the know” about cliffhangers from one season to the next. The season one finale told the story about Quinn getting shot and the FOX Network felt no explantation was needed to show Quinn on his feet in the season two premiere episode. Essentially as Tormé puts it FOX wanted to “alienate the audience” and tell them you don’t matter, nor does the story. We do matter and we’re here to tell you that. Most of us would be delighted to see the original fantastic four return. Jerry O’Connell would definitely be interested with Tormé at the helm and I can’t help but feel Cleavant Derricks would be on board, especially after outlasting every other original cast member through its five year run. Obviously John Rhys-Davies and Sabrina Lloyd may be in question. Rhys-Davies had a difficult departure from the series to say the least, and Lloyd is overseas. Deep down Quinn, Rembrandt, Wade and the Professor are the bread and butter. And everyone knows it. Sliders doesn’t need to grow mature. Growing up in the 90s, Sliders was a relatively moral television series. Whether it be the violence of “The Walking Dead” or the sexual obsession in “Game of Thrones”, television shows today are pushing violent and sexual boundaries to the extreme. Sliders is something that was fun, comedic and adventurous in a wholesome way. If you have a good story there’s really no need for sexualizing and creating graphic violent scenes. Networks have really taken what was sparsely seen in the 90s and used it exponentially today for ratings. It’d be great to see the kids growing up today to experience such a show as we did in the 90s. Adventurous. Fun. Clean. Yet smart. Time is of essence. The prolific actor John Rhys-Davies is getting up in age along with the Tony Award winner Cleavant Derricks. Why wouldn’t you take the opportunity to bring back a show with John Rhys-Davies? The man has been a staple in blockbuster movie franchises such as “Indiana Jones”, “Lord of the Rings” and even “007”. It would only take time to tie up a loose end that co-creator Tracy Tormé was never able to finish and thats the wrong Arturo who slid with the Sliders after the episode “Post Traumatic Slide Syndrome”. The existence of countless Sliders fan websites, fan fiction, it’s success on Netflix and presence in pop culture is still strong. Reviving the show to it’s roots with the original actors would be a television success with Tracy Tormé. It only takes a bit of research to discover how embedded Sliders is in the hearts and minds of TV fanatics. We haven’t forgotten. Take a look. ‘Haven’t you seen? Heard? Haven’t you looked around? Hasn’t any of this affected you at all? The universe has no conscience. So we have to.’ Don’t blow it. Thomas Birchfield www.slidecage.com, email@example.com
