Stop The American Broadband Deployment Act 2023 (HR3557)

The Issue

Communities around the nation have been working hard to establish zoning laws to deal with the current irresponsible placement of cell towers and intense infrastructure of 4G/5G networks. In metropolitan places like New York City where the rollout of 4G/5G networks first began, without citizen informed consent, some people were surprised to find 4G/5G cell antenna/transmitters installed directly across from their apartment window, sometimes 20 feet away on a light pole or on their apartment building roof, near or on schools, playgrounds, hospitals, residences, public places, etc. with no regard for the wellbeing of the public as in the photo on this page.

All of this effort around the country to keep adults and children safe with protective local zoning regulations will be undermined by the passage of HR3557, The American Broadband Deployment Act 2023. HR3557 is being sponsored by 11 Republicans of the House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee.
