Hi!
Many of you all know Angel Muse, and if you don't, she is a 3rd year tipster who attended UGA this year! She was in the *iconic* Philosophy of Knowledge class! Anyways, next year will be her 4th year at TIP, and she really wants to go to UGA again to be able to spend her last year of TIP with all of the great friends she's already made, in addition to participating in all of the wonderful course selections offered at UGA! However, Angel qualified for Center, and so her mother wants her to attend Duke University West next year. Duke West is a great campus with amazing courses and staff (just like UGA), and it's completely understandable that her mother would feel this way, but we need to show her that going to UGA will give her the best 4th year experience that she wouldn't obtain if she went to West. We need to show that it would not be the same without her at UGA next year, and that we would all miss her very very dearly, and that she would miss us as well! To Angel's mom: Please consider it. It would mean a lot to us and her. She understands where you're coming from, but UGA would allow her to have the best 4th (and last) year of TIP as possible, as she will be with people that she already knows and loves, and she will already be familiar with the campus and its traditions, as well as the amazing RCs and TAs. UGA offers amazing courses, just like Duke West does. Please just consider.
