As part of his visit to the UK, Donald Trump said that the NHS must be on the table as part of any trade deal with the UK after Brexit. This is a serious and direct threat to the NHS that we all know and love - so I’m calling on our government to guarantee that our health service will never form part of ANY trade deal, nevermind one with Donald Trump. Our NHS is a vital public service, it must remain protected from commercial exploitation.
As an NHS Doctor I know how valuable our health service is. First and foremost I care about my patients, and I’m seriously concerned that this could be the beginning of the end for high-quality healthcare for all in the UK.
Opening up the NHS to US corporations would mean that the profit motive invades our NHS, patient data is up for sale, access to healthcare is rationed and we would be staring at a system, as in the USA, where if you can’t pay you don’t get care.
Decent healthcare is a human right and should never be a commodity to be bought and sold. Let’s send a message to Donald Trump to keep his hands off our NHS and ask the UK government to legally guarantee that it will never form part of a trade deal with America, nor any other trade deal

A medical examiner said in court documents it was “the worst case of sexual trauma she had seen in her career."
In March of 2016, 14 month old Shaylynn Ammerman was kidnapped, tortured, raped and murdered by 22 year old Kyle Parker. After his disguising acts, he covered her body in bleach and left her lifeless body in the woods. He's pleaded guilty but now the Prosecutor and lawyer want to give Parker a plea deal that would drop all sexual charges for a guilty plea of murder with a 60 year prison term capable of parole in half of that time. All additional charges against Parker would be dismissed, including rape, child molesting, strangulation, aggravated battery, obstruction of justice, and failure to report a dead body. That means never having to register as a sex offender.

This is a petition to change the ways in which schools handle the issue of bullying. I am passionate about this as both my daughters have experienced bullying as well as children I know. My daughter's best friend committed suicide because of bullying and both my daughters were victims of bullying which had a detrimental affect on their wellbeing, from self harming to being physically attacked by bullies all because the school failed to safeguard them, support them and take the situation seriously. My older daughter experienced bullying which included indirect and direct discrimination because of her special needs which wasn't just from kids in her school but also her Spanish teacher. The local authority had to get involved, but nothing was really done about it.
If schools use the correct procedures by supporting and protecting the victims of bullying this will reduce the rate of bullying in schools.
This petition is to highlight how the parents and their children do not get the support they need when the child is being bullied. The child's voice is not heard and in some cases the bullies seem to get more support than the victim.The more people that speak out for a change the better. Too many children are suffering and have even taken their own lives as a result of bullying. Parents that report their child being a victim of bullying to the school do not receive any kind of support that is required. Worst of all the bullying continues and may even get worse some results in the victim commiting suicide
My daughter's school is an example of how the school system does not protect victims of bullying. My younger daughter who suffers from Autism and has a ECHP plan was physically attacked by 5 girls who are students from the same school as her that were bullying her for a year. The school was aware of the ongoing bullying but did nothing despite my daughter reporting the bullying to the school and given personal statements. Instead of trying to support my daughter, the victim, I feel support was given to the bullies even after my daughter got physically attacked. This could of been prevented if the school had taken this bullying seriously in the first place. My daughter has previously been followed home by these bullies and on the same day she got physically attacked the bullies were verbally abusing her in school and this was reported to the teachers.
The whole thing has affected my daughter's mental wellbeing and she had to be taken out of the school during an important time (mock exams) as she couldn't attend because the bullies were still allowed to go to school whilst the school carried out their investigation. Despite the fact that every time my daughter was bullied she reported it to the teachers and even on the same day she got attacked nothing was done to address the bullies and their actions. In many cases schools have come across to overlook this very important issue until it's too late and they seem to be more concerned about their Ofsted report.
IMAGINE IF THIS WAS YOUR CHILD...
Calling on the educational board and governers to do something. Bring justice to the victim and proper repercussions to the bullies, why should the victim suffer and the bullies just get away with it.
CAN WE SAY OFSTED WHO REGULATES THESES SCHOOLS AND GIVES THE SCHOOLS THEIR REPORT ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM ASWELL. WHAT ARE ALL THESE PROFESSIONALS DOING TO SAFEGUARD OUR CHILDREN THAT ARE GETTING BULLIED? THEY HAVE A DUTY OF CARE TO PROTECT AND LEGAISATIONS, POLICY AND PROCEDURES THEY HAVE TO FOLLOW WHICH THEY BREACH, SHOULDNT THEY BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE?

Instead, redirect their investment and efforts into climate-friendly sustainable models such as constructed wetland reed beds and/or willow plantations which will deal effectively with the nation’s sewage in a way that protects our environment, both on land and at sea, and creates resources that can be harvested for environmentally-sustainable energy and agriculture solutions.
3. Think local
Look at localised sustainable solutions that best suit each area, rather than large centralised plants that are environmental pollutants on so many levels.Read more
