Products with cruelty inflicted to be advertised on product packaging

At the moment products that have not inflicted cruelty on animals are labeled cruelty free or are signed up to the bunny logo. Fair trade products are labeled clearly so we can see that the farmers of the product have got a fair deal. However it is becoming extremely difficult to identify what products are cruelty free with many companies claiming they don't test on animals when In fact some ingredients used have somewhere along the line inflicted cruelty on animal. Like with cigarettes packaging they have pictures of what can happen if you buy that product something similar should be applied to all products. I purpose that it becomes law that individual companies that sell products within the United kingsom have total transparency and label products with some form of logo or information that makes it clear to consumes that a particular product has caused cruelty to an animal. Thus giving the consumer the knowledge to make an informed decision on what they are buying.

Ask 1 800 Flowers to Offer Fair Trade Flowers That Aren't Picked By Exploited Workers

Fresh cut flowers are a wonderful way to show the special people in our life we love them. But did you know that beautiful bouquet you bought for your sweetheart, your mother, or your friend might have been picked by exploited or enslaved workers? The cut flowers that large florists like 1-800-Flowers sell often come from countries in Central and South America and Africa -- where beautiful blossoms grow year round, but workers' rights aren't always respected. On Kenyan flower plantations, workers reported being forced to work 8-12 hour days for less than a dollar a day, handling dangerous chemicals without protective gear, and living in cramped, unsafe conditions. In Colombia and Ecuador, which are the main countries that supply the U.S. flower market, over half of female workers have been sexually harrased or assaulted on the job, and mandatory 70 to 80 hour work weeks without overtime pay are common. Exploitation and abuse of workers in the cut flower industry is rampant. As one of the largest flower companies in the world, 1-800-Flowers has tremendous power to reduce exploitation in the cut flower industry. But currently, they don't offer a single Fair Trade certified stem or provide information about where their flowers come from. It's time 1-800-Flowers stopped being part of the problem of human trafficking and exploitation in the cut flower industry and started being part of the solution.

Petition to MITV first generation TV owners

Xiaomi MITV- Fake Promise and Non compatibility of advertised product feature

Hi, we are unfortunate users of MITV first Generation and we are at the mercy of Xiaomi MITV stakeholders for Android Oreo update promised to us last year. We can see that Xiaomi has released several new "Pro' models which has both Android TV and Patchwall interface but they have denied the update to old MITV owners. Moreover, on their social media platforms like Twitter/Facebook etc, they do not even bother to reply to any question raised regarding this. It seems that they don't have any interest in resolving this issue. Also, none of the first generation 55" 4K TV is able to play 4K content from any online source which I believe is total breach of product advertisement code and it can be legally challenged as well. They also promised to release Amazon Prime long back but even that seems to be a fake promise. Manu Kumar Jain and Sudeep Sahu are two Indian people working for this foreign company and the way they are managing this issue is completely unacceptable. Please sign this Petition and share with all MITV users and help these Xiaomi people understand the power of MITV First Generation TV users.

Stop throttling "unlimited" Internet plans, poor service, data leakage in Zimbabwe

The internet is our gateway to the world. It's dishearting that our ISPs feel the need to throttle usage and predetermined points during the day. This makes a mockery of the term unlimited which is both misleading and dishonest. Users capped data also dissappears without warning or recourse, and the ISPs always have an excuse without proper investigations. Customers are also tired of the poor customer service they receive, which includes but is not limited to lack of information, delayed responses and ridiculing of customers who have lost their data.

Mandatory proeminent disclosure of country of manufacture for every product advertised

Are you like me, and want to know the country of manufacture before you purchase,  but all too often hit a brick wall? Basic consumer rights should include the mandatory disclosure of the country of manufacture of every product, prominently displayed by every seller, online platform or otherwise. We, the consumers, should be entitled to this information, which is as basic as price, warranty and product description information, and every bit as important.  The Tariff Act of 1930 requires labeling of the actual package, but we should be informed of where the product is made BEFORE we purchase and certainly before we get the package delivered. None of the online platforms display clearly, if at all, country of origin. At present, consumers are overtly deceived into purchasing products they believe are made in the United States. I am not interested where the product is designed or who owns the brand. Just tell me up front where it is made. This legislation would promote American manufacturing, and at the same time would provide consumers with the ability to choose other countries of manufacture as well. This is way overdue!
