With meebo on wattpad.com, users were able to know when their were online and easily read their status'. There was no need to go to the person's profile, check their status from there and send them a message on their message board and wait to see if their online or not. With meebo, users could stay on the page they were on - whether it was a page in good book or a multimedia - without being disrupted.

I know that the wattpad team had no control whether or not Google removed meebo as stated in their update on June 3, 2013, "Since Meebo is run by Google this means that Wattpad has no control in whether or not it can stay active.", but that doesn't mean that we, who love Wattpad, can't try.

So please, sign the petition if you're tired of switching pages just so you can check out a friend's status or if you stand with the confusion of not knowing whether or not a fan is online or not. By signing, you're making a movement so great that when other's see your work, they'll want to do the same thing.
