We are a group of Winamp users and we're kindly asking AOL to release the Winamp source code under a liberal license for further development.

Winamp is still a quite popular music player, and lots of us feel disapointed such a lovely piece of software had to come to an end as it will be no more actively developped. There are a lot of us having the time and the skills to keep Winamp alive and well. Just let us do it!
