I am married with a turkish citizen for 11 months. I petition my husband 6 months ago. When my husband went to his interview the consular told him you are under administrative processing.
Administrative processing can be
1) checking your background/ name checks/ security checks
2.) checking your documents for authenticity
3.) the CO and his boss looking at it too to make sure you qualify
4.) just making sure you have everything and your not missing documents.
5.) maybe checking relationshi
This process can take up to a year. Some families have been apart just because of this process. It can take a toll in relationships. What we want is the Administrative process short
