Since the 2000 election that resulted in George Bush being selected as President of the United States, the Supreme Court has become highly politicized. With the 25th Anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights Bill, we are appalled at the decisions of this court that have polluted this sacred bill that ensured the civil rights of minorities in the United States.  Their decisions have weakened the Voting Rights Act and caused a rollback of affirmative action that Justice Clarence Thomas benefitted from but now opposes for other minorities. Other  examples of its  shift in  democratic focus is the Court’s upholding of the Citizens United  and the recent McCuthcheon case to allow individuals and corporations to donate unlimited amounts to political campaigns. Because of these highly partisan decisions that enable individuals and corporations to virtually buy elections, we the people want to amend the Constitution of the United States and eliminate the unlimited terms of  Justices to only eight years.  Any current Justice who has served more than eight years would be asked to resign immediately.  Because of the urgency of this matter, we urge the American people to write and call their Congressional representatives  who  polls say less than 10% of the population approve of the way they are running this country and demand that they put this this critically important  Constitutional amendment to a vote immediately.   This is a most urgent  matter to save our union  from widespread corruption that goes against the democratic  principles  that our forefathers envisioned for this great country.  Save American Democracy Now-Implement Term Limits for all Supreme Court Justices Now. Don’t Let the Millionaires  and other billionaires destroy your American dream.
