Nintendo, we believe that PlatinumGames, Inc. should develop the next Star Fox game.

PlatinumGames, Inc. is a video game company comprised of some of the best video game designers in the industry, including Hideki Kamiya and Atsushi Inaba, both of whom have worked on Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe, Resident Evil, and Okami, in addition to all the games from PlatinumGames, Inc.

In 2010, Hideki Kamiya tweeted his interest in making a new Star Fox game: “I want Nintendo’s staff to come to Platinum, stick guns at us and tell us ‘You guys make a new Star Fox game.’” He then went on to praise Star Fox 64 for its scenario and heated battles. In fact, Hideki Kamiya is so satisfied with Star Fox 64, he scrapped his own 3D shooter game he’s been working on, claiming there wouldn’t be a need for his game if it rivaled Star Fox 64.

PlatinumGames, inc. is very respectful to series’ roots and are more than willing to cooperate to the IP owner’s wishes, as demonstrated in their upcoming game, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. PlatinumGames, Inc. has helped out considerably with Nintendo and the Wii U’s launch, releasing The Wonderful 101 in the launch window, and working with Nintendo to make Bayonetta 2 an exclusive title. The last Star Fox sequel was Star Fox Command, which came out six years ago; many fans are missing the series and have waited long for a return.
