Since Nintendo did have added a couple of other characters from the Sub-Mario series like Diddy Kong (from Double Dash to Mario Kart Wii), Donkey Kong Jr. (from Super Mario Kart), and Funky Kong (from Mario Kart Wii) from the Donkey Kong series & Baby Mario and Baby Luigi (from Double Dash to Mario Kart 8) from the Yoshi series were added to the Mario Kart series from years ago, but, I think that we needed add a couple of Wario characters from the Wario Land and/or WarioWare series like Mona, Captain Syrup, Jimmy T., 9-Volt, 18-volt, Ashley, Kat, Ana, and/or some of the others to the next Mario Kart game maybe for the next console after Wii U and/or after Mario Kart 8 that will might bring more fans get attention if they can might bring Wario fans and WarioWare fans to play Mario Kart and some other fans might get interest to Wario Land and WarioWare series.
