The Issue
A missing persons report was filed for Michelle Morgan who disapeared from her parents home in Wayne county Michigan. She was picked up by state police in Hagerstown Maryland within 24 hours. Instead of detaining her until parents arrived (who were two hours away) they allowed her to walk out of Juvinile detention services.
When parents arrived to pick her up she was gone. Hagerstown claims that she did not commit a crime. Leaving state lines is illegal if you are not 18 years old and do not have permission from your parents.
Hagerstown has aided in allowing a child to become a victim of human trafficking.
If this were their child they would not find it very funny.
