Charley Molnar has shown to be an ineffective coach who is in over his head. However these videos show something much more sinister. They show a career minded coach who disregards player safety, and later lies about it and tries to hide his disdain for anything other than his own career by claiming the NCAA sanction it. The NCAA, the same billion dollar organization that refuses to compensate the players. Players like Brandon Hill who had his shoulder injured during these wrestling drills and is likely out of football forever now. I say this as a former amateur wrestler and MMA practitioner.

I am a student at UMass. We all want to see the football program succeed and win to bring pride to our school. After watching that video it is quite clear Molnar mentally ruins his players. This also shows on the field.

My father helped design McGuirk Stadium and took me to games when I was a kid, watching Vic Fusia coach, and later covered UMass when Jim Reid was the coach. I also did stats for Ted Peene w/ Bill Carty (McCarty?) doing the color on WTTT. I also had a few brews at Mike's Westview and remember Billy Deflavio working there as a bartender. This petition doesn't go far enough, it should demand the resignation of John McCutcheon for robbing UMass football of its winning tradition in exchange for fat paydays and butt whippings against Michigan, Kansas State Wisconsin, et al.

My son was one of the players that transferred due to Molnar and his staff's treatment. My son's football career was almost ended because of lack of medical treatment. Thankfully he has transferred, received the treatment he needed, and is back on the field as a starter this season
