Re-Brand Life with Archie: "AFTER ARCHIE"

Re-Brand Life with Archie: "AFTER ARCHIE"
The Issue
Archie Comics has reinvigorated its brand over the past decade by being the first to portray important aspects of real life in comics (having the protagonists grow up and get married, introducing Kevin Keller, depicting Occupy Wall Street), and it has done these with high quality work, attracting the masses with hype that (for once in the comic industry) is well earned.
For this reason, a comic about characters dealing with grief could be a powerful and enormously successful move for Archie Comics, as well as an opportunity to draw more attention to the high quality work occuring in Life with Archie that the general masses have missed out on. This would bring readers back and reinvigorate Paul Kupperberg's amazing world of engaging, realistic characters in the world's first engaging POSITIVE soap opera.
We, the undersigned, implore Archie Comics and editor in chief Victor Gorelick, to consider making this move to reinvigorate the Life with Archie title as well as appeal to a wider audience about an important issue that affects us all.
UPDATE 4/16/14, 8:18pm EST:
I pitched this idea to Paul Kupperberg on his facebook page. His response was, "Jeff, if it were up to me...!" and he went on to talk about how "I could have continued WRITING LWA for years and been a happy man..."
With Paul Kupperberg in favor of this idea, all that's holding it back is Archie Comics' belief that the sales aren't there. That's why it's more necessary than ever to sign this petition and share it everywhere you can -- ask your local comic shop to post it on their facebook wall, post the link on any discussion forums you frequent and on your social media pages, e-mail your friends. Show Archie Comics that there's still a loyal readership still out there, and that this direction would be met with fan support.
We CAN do this!!!!
