Save Julie-Su! Demand Archie Comics Stop Removing Sonic Characters

The Issue

Ken Penders is one of the more prolific writer/artists to have contributed to the Sonic the Hedgehog Archie comic universe, creating such beloved characters as Julie-Su, Geoffrey St. John, Hershey, Rob O’ the Hedge, and Lien-Da. However, Archie Comics Publications, Inc. has begun to systematically remove these characters from the comic series, refusing to pay royalties to the artists, writers, colorists, pencilers and illustrators who worked on the original series. Archie Comics Publications, Inc., also known as ACP, has even gone as far as to credit the materials as being created by persons who weren't even remotely affiliated with the book's creation. We believe the characters should stay and ACP should properly recognize and compensate everyone who worked on the series, especially giving recognition and credit to those who created the stories and characters we know and love.
