This petition is to stop the Orange Springs Sandmine! Sand mines have been overtaking rural farm lands and negatively impacting local communities. Sand mines use millions of gallons of groundwater, resulting in the instability of long term water supplies for the local community and farmlands. Sand mines also damage our roads and fog up the night sky with their bright lights. Peace and quiet will no longer be so peaceful and quiet. A much heavier traffic presence will be certainly noticeable.
