दुनिया भर में मशहूर दिल्ली, भारत की वो राजधानी है जहाँ का स्वास्थ्य सेवा की हालत बदहाल है। सरकारी अस्पतालों में इलाज के लिए मरीजों को लंबी कतार में इस कड़ाके की ठंड से जूझते हुए, आय दिन एक के बाद एक अपॉइंटमेंट की पर्ची के लिए रात दिन एक करने पड़ते हैं। वहीं दूसरी ओर प्राइवेट अस्पताल अपने आसमान छूते इलाज के खर्चे से ठीक होते मरीज़ को भी कर्ज़ के बोझ से और बीमार कर देते हैं।

जनता का अधिकार है कि वो अपनी सरकार से एक कुशल स्वास्थ्य सेवा की माँग करे। कागज़ों पर लिखे अक्षर और ज़मीनी हक़ीक़त अक्सर कई मीलों का फासला रखते हैं।

क्या ग़रीब और मध्यम वर्ग के लिए कुशल स्वास्थ्य सेवा रेगिस्तान के सराब की तरह है? 

यह याचिका चार मांगें रखती है–

• दिल्ली में सरकारी अस्पतालों की संख्या बढ़ाई जाए।

• सरकारी एवं प्राइवेट अस्पतालों का समय समय पर इंस्पेक्शन किया जाए।

• मरीज़ को कुशल इलाज जल्द से जल्द मिले।

• अस्पतालों में अलग अलग विभाग में इलाज के अलग अलग दिन बाँटने के बजाय 24/7 सेवा रखी जाए, अपॉइंटमेंट लेने के लिए भी यह सेवा 24/7 हो।

अगर आप दिल्ली में कुशल स्वास्थ्य सेवा जल्द से जल्द देखना चाहते हैं, तो इस याचिका का हिस्सा बन सरकार तक बात पहुँचाएँ।

Delhi, the capital of India, is famous all over the world for the condition of health care. Patients have to stand in long queues in government hospitals, battling the harsh cold, and working day and night to get appointment slips one after the other. On the other hand, private hospitals, with their skyrocketing treatment costs, make the recovering patients even more sick with the burden of debt.

 

The public has the right to demand an efficient health care service from its government. The words written on paper and the ground reality are often miles apart.

Is efficient healthcare like a mirage in the desert for the poor and middle class?

 This petition makes four demands –

• The number of government hospitals in Delhi should be increased.

• Government and private hospitals should be inspected from time to time.

• Patients should get efficient treatment as soon as possible.

• Instead of dividing treatment days into different departments in hospitals, there should be 24/7 service, this service should also be available 24/7 for taking appointments.
