Ние, долуподписаните граждани, настояваме за незабавно извинение от страна на шоуто "Господари на ефира", което от години капитализира от  расистки и хомофобски образи на уязвими малцинства.

На 2 февруари 2017 шоуто удари дъното като излъчи тайно заснети кадри на сексуален контакт между монах и подставено лице. Монахът не бе анонимизиран, за разлика от заснелия кадрите.

Настояваме това отвратително унижаване на хомосексуални хора в ефир, били те и монаси, да спре. Това предаване е доказало, че не може да прави шоу, без да унижава и обижда големи групи от хора. Например, расистките и унизителни репортажи с роми са факт почти всяко предаване, а помним и ужасния репортаж за масажи, в който жената, принудена да прави еротични масажи бе показана, а "клиентът" мъж – анонимизиран.

Настояваме да не излъчват втората част на "порното" и вместо това от шоуто да се извинят на монасите и на зрителите за скандала.

Нашата петиция не е някакъв абстрактен морален вопъл: публичният тормоз, който Карбовски спретна на монасите от Троянския манастир доведе до смъртта от сърдечен удар заради причинения стрес на един от набедените монаси.

Рейтинги не бива да се правят на гърба на уязвими хора, заснети, без тяхно позволение, само за да бъдат унижавани публично в ефир.

We, the undersigned, demand Gospodari Na Efira show, which over the past few years has been making racist, sexist and homophobic jokes at the expense of minorities, issues an apology for its latest episode dated 2nd February.

On 2nd of February the show hit rock bottom by airing secretly videotaped footage of a sexual act between a priest and another man. The identity of the priest was not concealed, unlike the identity of the sexual partner.

We demand that this disgusting humiliation of gay people on national broadcasting, regardless of their status as priests, stops.

This show proved many times that they cannot make comedy without humiliating and insulting entire groups of people and especially minorities. For example, racist and degrading jokes about Roma people feature in almost every episode. This is coupled by slut-shaming moralistic videos such as the horrible tape in which a woman was coerced into giving an erotic massage to a “client”. Again her name and face were exposed for all to see, while the client’s identity was concealed.

We demand that the show issues an apology to the priest and to the audience.

Our petition is not an abstract moral outrage. A few years ago public harassment perpetrated by the famous Bulgarian Journalist Martin Karbovski to the monks in the Troyan Monastery eventually caused the death from stroke and stress of one of the monks.

TV shows should not boost their ratings on the shoulders of vulnerable people who are filmed without their knowledge nor their consent, for the purpose of getting them humiliated on a national media platform.
